KES International (KES) is a worldwide association that supports research in the area of Knowledge Based and Intelligent Engineering Systems. KES has over 1000 members and associate members in universities and companies around the world. The focus of KES is research and knowledge transfer in the area of Intelligent Systems, i.e. computer-based software systems that operate in a manner analogous to the human brain, in order to perform advanced tasks.KES runs conferences on intelligent-systems topics, and publishes a research journal. Collaboration between the Centre for Smart Systems and KES allows us, and you, to tap into the latest developments on intelligent software systems.
